SCHUH

I was commissioned by Schuh to create a piece to celebrate Black History Month under their hashtag #EducateCelebrate.

I responded to the question they gave me to set a theme: "Why is it important that we talk about Black History Month?"

Colorful artistic illustration of diverse women with afro, braided, and natural hairstyles, each with a large letter on their head, spelling 'DREAM'. The background transitions from yellow at the top to orange at the bottom, with the words 'Learn from the past for a better future' at the top.
Colorful illustration showing four women with hair styled in creative ways, wearing accessories like earrings and headbands, with large letters spelling 'LEARN' and the phrase 'FROM THE PAST FOR A BETTER FUTURE' at the top.

This piece was featured on Creative Boom Mag under '28 emerging illustrators to support and follow for inspiration in 2021' written by Tom May.

An illustration featuring a diverse group of women with colorful hairstyles spelling out the word 'BLACK' and additional words 'READ' and 'PRIDE' with a yellow banner that reads 'LEARN FROM THE PAST FOR A BETTER FUTURE.'

My piece was featured in CSM newsletter to promote GCD's Anti-Racism working groups.

It also was featured in @csmgraphics official Instagram page.
